What one credit buys
Word documents, PNG and JPG. Scanning costs nothing and always will, so credits are only spent when you sanitise.

Prices are in US dollars, and the price on the card is the total you pay. Credits are sold to customers in the United States only. Unspent credits are refundable for 30 days at the price you paid. The terms have the detail.
Drag it to the size of the thing sitting in your downloads folder. The arithmetic here is the same arithmetic the server charges.
I need to sanitise
2,500words

3credits
The smallest pack that covers it is Starter at $4.99, which leaves 7 credits for the next one.
Files are one credit each whatever their size, so a folder of twelve images is twelve credits. Scanning stays free either way.
See the packsScanning is free and unlimited with no account, so you can see exactly what your document carries before you decide anything. The two free credits are granted once rather than reset every month, and nothing here asks for a card.

From $4.99, on your account
A pack lives on your account rather than in a browser, so it is there on any device and never expires. You create the account at checkout.
You never choose a layer and you are never charged differently for one. The tool reads what you gave it and runs whatever applies. Paste text, or upload a text file, and you get the invisible characters and the statistical watermark. A Word document gets the invisible characters and its file metadata. A picture gets its file metadata alone.

Best effort, and not verifiable yet
One credit sanitises 1,000 words of text, whether you paste it in or upload it as a .txt file. Both get the full rewrite, and a rewrite is priced by the word because the words are the work. A Word document, a PNG or a JPG is one flat credit at any size we accept, which is up to 3.2 MB: those have their metadata and hidden characters removed rather than their wording rewritten, and stripping a 3 MB photograph and a 40 KB one is the same piece of work. Every job rounds up to a whole credit.
No. Most of this market resets your allowance every month and takes back what you did not use. Yours sit in your account until you spend them.
The credits return to your balance automatically. It is the ledger that enforces this rather than a promise: a failed run writes the refund itself.
Pasted text, Word documents, PNG and JPG. Paste text, or upload a .txt file, and you get the invisible characters and the rewrite. A Word document gets the invisible characters and the metadata, and its wording is not rewritten. A PNG or a JPG has no text in it, so it gets the metadata alone. One rewrite takes up to 8,000 words, which is a long chapter. Anything bigger goes through in parts, and credits are charged by the word either way, so splitting a document costs you nothing extra.
It is granted once rather than reset. Two credits the moment you use the tool, with no account and no card. Scanning is separate and never runs out.
So the credits have somewhere to live. Free credits sit on the browser that earned them; a pack you pay for is attached to your account instead, so it is there on your phone and your laptop, survives a cleared browser, and never expires. Creating the account takes a moment at checkout and nothing else asks for it.
Yes. Within 30 days of buying, email support@un-claude.com and we will refund any credits from that purchase you have not spent, at the price you paid, without asking why. Credits already spent are not refunded, because the work was done.
The scan is free, unlimited and needs no account. You only spend a credit once you decide to clean it.
